Dr. Jiale (Gary) Hu, PhD, RN, FAAN, is an Associate Professor and Director of Research and Global Outreach in the Department of Nurse Anesthesia at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). His scholarship focuses on enhancing knowledge translation in healthcare environments, with current projects encompassing AI integration in healthcare education and research, evidence implementation context and complexity, precision pain assessment and care, and global collaboration in nurse anesthesia education and evidence dissemination. He obtained one patent, published over 170 articles in peer-reviewed journals, and provided multiple presentations at international, national, and local conferences. He has also been invited by different institutions to supervise or mentor undergraduate and graduate students (i.e., BScN, MScN, PhD, DNP, DNAP) for their research projects.
